Parents tend to tell their children how everything should be done even after they grow up. Children, who are mature enough to be independent, are often annoyed by their talkative parents. It is not uncommon for teenagers to complain about how nonsensical their mothers’ words can be.

I hope that when my children grow up, I, as their father, will be able to realize that it’s time to change my position from guider to bystander. In other words, I hope that I will be clever enough to shut up in front of my children.

同样的道理也适用于People’s Republic of China, because (i)it is not people’s. (ii)it doesn’t operate like a republic. (iii)it is not the whole China.
